WRITE is an OLD ENGLISH word whose derivative is the LATIN core writ. Writ is a form of written command from a court or legal authority requiring or denying an act.
RIGHT that which you supposedly have. Core is LATIN rectus does this not sound like rectum which terminates at the anus? Rectum is a derivative of rectus.
