A Shadow of Man

Amidst the midday a shadow is not cast
Yet lo, like the hand of a sundial, we do reflect the time
Our time
Askew at the first hour
And more so on the fourth
All is but a shadow
However, this shadow does bear semblance to its originator
Be they wide or narrow
Short or tall
One cannot tell one from the other
Lest they stand side by side
Then who is to judge the accuracy
Of that which is cast? - 7/4/06
