There is more silence in noise. Silence speaks loudly!
Noise: That which keeps individuals locked in a non-communicative fashion. It is the thing that deadens the mind and leaves the look of a codfish on the faces of those locked into the mundane.
*Staring at the screen watching actions play about takes away from the living of life. The exploratory nature of the mind ceases as it is fed that which lacks substance. What substances can be had is created in the imagination where the creator takes the reigns and develops whatever story(ies) his/her mind holds.
Silence: That which allows for a dialogue. It is the thing that can convey thought into words or into diagram(s)/pictures/paintings/designs that can be shared and discussed. **Silence allows for speaking loudly even when the idea spoken of is nothing more than a whisper.

This was found based on the query of “get unplugged.” I slightly edited it from its original form.
It's an epidemic. It can strike anyone. It begins harmlessly enough... maybe with a cell phone, an online social network profile, or an IM. But before long, the electronic screens invade every corner of your life.
There's a name for this tragic and extremely annoying condition: Screen Addiction.
But there is hope. Send an intervention to someone you care about! Help them take the first step towards recovery.
Send an Intervention Email to your screen-addicted friend!
Dear friend:
I'm sending this letter because:
1 - I care.
2 - it’s getting annoying.
3 - I’m not sure you’re still alive.
4 - I know what it’s like.
5 - you’re creeping me out, dude.
This is an intervention. It's time to admit you have a problem. You're addicted to:
1 - your television.
2 - your cell phone.
3 - your computer.
4 - updating your Facebook profile.
5 - instant messaging.
6 - texting.
7 - video games.
8 - downloading ringtones.
9 - Tweeting.
I'm worried you're going to:
1 - become an LOL cat lady.
2 - develop enormous thumbs.
3 - become a zombie.
4 - forget how to say words out loud.
5 - legally change your name to FerretLvr83.
When was the last time you:
1 - saw the sun?
2 - laughed out loud instead of LOLed?
3 - let a text message sit for 5 minutes?
4 - asked a human instead of asking Google?
5 - saw an uncaptioned cat?
6 - did something not involving a screen?
I miss you. The world misses you. You need help. Watch this video. Join a Meetup or something. Please.
1 - Sincerely,
2 - Yours truly,
3 - Worried,
4 - Totally annoyed,
5 - Exasperatedly yours,
6 - Your friend (remember me?),
7 - With love,
