Brian Deserves a Write Up...

*I met Brian today.

This awesome dude of about 6' 3" or more is a rig rider who knows how to avoid the scales. Brian is a real cool person who is not sitting around in the darkness. He is a toughie with scars and bullet holes, but no tatts. A writer and anti-authority figure, he makes for interesting and lively conversation. While his rig waited along side the road, he risked being ticketed for hanging out (almost an hour). I guess that is the rebel in him.

He has a nice background as he knows how to get out of a federal pickle thereby avoiding prison. When brutalized by cops, he fought back. Who the hell needs police brutality. In telling the story, he did state that he did want to kill that cop...those words slipped out unintentionally and he put his head down. The cop was out of work for 2 years due to the severity of his beating.

Wild things grow in his place in Toronto, but he can't have the lights necessary for the orange tree to fruit. The water he drinks is not bought as he goes and gets it himself at a spring. Cool huh? So what that he colors out of the lines. That is the best way to live!

What initially struck me about this guy is that he looked like my cousin Mikey, but taller. Although Canadian, his ancestors were confederates in Louisiana. Rebellion goes way back with this dude. Ancestors refused allegiance to Brittan and Canada. Acadia/Rebel - NO ALLEGIANCE! Yeah good!!!

Whoops, I forgot to mention, he is not allowed into the United States.

It is hoped that he pops into the store again with more tales. I think he will be back. ~ Maggie ~ 2/16/07 ~ penned prior to 3:00 p.m.
